Only amenity was wifi . Over price for falsely advertised roach motel. Not a family friendly or safe place to stay.

Property is in severe need of renovation. Smoke detectors missing in rooms Rooms were musty I would never take my wife to this hotel; it was just me and my brother in town on family business Picture on rental platform were misleading

the place is an old hole that doesn't worth a $1 even for free i wouldn't stay there again. smelly, shady, stink, does not worth the price they ask, horrifically bad over all the worst place you can find near the airport

Unless you're fond of dumps, don't stay here. It badly needs a total renovation. On our way home from Spain, we had an unplanned a 2-day layover in Newark, NJ, thanks to United. Unfamiliar with the area, our team leader picked Howard Johnson's. It was miserable! Everything was old. The ceiling was even separating from the wall! The advertised airport shuttle was nonexistent. In fact, it was parked on the premises with the hood up. The wall air conditioner was about 8 inches away from the bed my husband slept in. He developed COVID after it blew cold air on him all night. It's in a really bad section of town. The staff at the front desk are behind plexiglass. I awoke one morning to see two cop cars out front. They charged us a total of $199 per night. Unbelievable!!! Thankfully, the beds were comfortable, the towels were decent, and the onsite restaurant was fairly good. although it was closed when we arrived Sunday evening. Without the advertised shuttle, we had to take a cab out to eat dinner. That was $30 each way to the nearby Hilton, which is where we should have stayed in the first place.

If I could have found another place to stay, I would have. No airport shuttle, no cafe, not clean. I have no idea how old this place is but I’d say the carpet was original. In a very shady area. We couldn’t even walk to a place to eat.
